Threads by SAM S1:Ep2 with Dr Rajendra Shende

My guest today is Mr Rajendra Shende, who has been on the frontiers of the global battle against climate change. He has served as the director of the UN Environment program and was instrumental in crafting and negotiationing the Montreal protocol, which was a global effort to protect the earth’s ozone layer from harmful CFC gases. He currently serves as the Chairman of TERRE, an evidence-based think tank in India. This is a very interesting conversation that tackles everything from morning routines to an analysis of the Indian Education System and the role that IITs and IIMs play in our country, to climate change and what the future looks like. This was a blast to shoot and I learnt a lot from talking to Mr. Shende.
